Curing a Headache Naturally Through the Emotional Freedom Technique

  • Use a clear, straightforward language when voicing your affirmation. This will allow your brain to absorb the information better.
  • Try to do EFT in front of a mirror. Being eye to eye with yourself gives you a better connection with your subconscious.
  • If possible, do EFT regularly. This may help you from getting headaches in the future.

Other Simple Home Remedies for a Headache

Aside from EFT, there are other ways to cure a headache without hurting your health. Here are some natural remedies you can try:
  • Drink plenty of water. Sometimes, headaches are caused by dehydration. When your head starts throbbing, drink a glass of water. It may lessen the pain a bit.
  • Eat an apple. If your headache keeps coming back, eat an apple – the upper rind and inner hard portion removed – on an empty stomach every morning for a week. Adding a dash of salt to the apple is also a good idea.
  • Use henna flowers. Headaches caused by extreme heat can be cured with henna flowers. Just rub the flowers in vinegar and place it on your forehead.
  • Try cinnamon. It works great for headaches caused by cold air exposure. Make a fine paste and apply it to your forehead and temples to get relief.
  • Drink herbal tea made from tulsi, ginger, or peppercorns.
  • Get enough sleep. Sleeping can bring back your energy and help relieve your emotional burden.
